Race Rules

  • No alterations are allowed to any track or the riding area in general without explicit approval of the race organiser and prior to practice commencing.
  • Only Members and pass holders are allowed to practice on the saturday before race day, unless it is a full weekend event.
  • A FULLFACE helmet must be worn at all times whilst riding, eye protection and body armour are recomended but not enforced.
  • Bikes must be well maintained and of an appropriate calibre to remain safe under the riding conditions of the race track.
  • Walking up the race track is forbidden for safety reasons, please always use the push-up/up-lift track, or push up another track.
  • On race days or weekend events we opperate a strict NO riding policy on al othrer tarcks as people could be walking up them!
  • Good and courteous behavior towards fellow riders and other site users (ramblers, locals etc) is expected at all times.
  • Access to the areas are through the designated entrances only.
  • All vehicles must be parked in the designated parking areas. Vehicles are not allowed within the riding area.
  • Private vehicle uplifting is not allowed – it contravenes the agreements with our landlord.
  • NO camping on normal winter series races, Camping for all full weekend races will be provided.
  • NO fires or BBQ on site or in the car parks, Unless we have dedicated areas on weekend events.
  • If you are riding please leave your pets (dogs) behind or keep them on a lead.
  • Riding whist intoxicated is strictly forbidden.
  • NO LITTERING; If you brought it, take it home.
  • Anyone found engaging in illegal activities whilst on site will be reported to the police and WILL be banned for life!
  • Everyone including spectators will obey all instructions from the marshals and other officials, If you ignore instructions you will be asked to leave the site.

Uplift Rules

  • All riders will assist the loading team, If there is anything you are unhappy with you must point it out before the vehicle is fully loaded.
  • NO other persons are allowed on the uplift vehicles other than racers and officials unless given explicit perission by the event team.
  • A FULLFACE helmet must be worn at all times whilst riding in the uplift trailers. If you refuse you WALK.
  • All riders will remain seated until the vehicle has stopped and the rear door has been opend for you to exit at the top of the hill.
  • If a riders has had a bad cash and their bike requires taking back up the hill from the bottom it will be placed in the hut to be collected asap. If no one is availabe to collect the bile it will be taken home with the organiser and someone can collect it from there at their earliest convenient time.
  • All riders will obey instructions from the loading team and vehicle drivers, if you ignore instructions you will be walking for the rest of the weekend. If you don't hear instructions clearly then please ask the individual to reapeat the instructions. 
  • Sarcasm or verbal abuse towards the team will not be tolerated in any form.
